Angel just got out from prison and with nothing set up she needs a job. She doesn’t know how, but in her favor, she gets a temporary position in an office. Angel does everything she can to get the money and lay low to not bring attention to her. One night she enters her boss’s office to do something for work and ends up with her boss behind her. Yet he thinks she is someone else and things get heated. Gage does things to her that she loves, but the boundaries are passed and now Angel doesn’t know what to do. Her job is at risk and she knows her boss won't love a recent jail release or will he?

I enjoyed this book very much. Angel just wants to restart her life by making a living for herself and now her life just got more complex. Gage and Angel are a great couple. I just wished the story was longer or we get to see them in the future.
This was my first time reading anything by this author and I can only say 'WOW', I cannot wait to read more. This was one very hot read that kept me reading from page one to the very end. Even though it was short it did not take anything away from the development of the characters who I really felt for. I felt sorry for both of them for the things that had happened to make them the wounded people they were. Even if one was a billionaire, his life was no picnic with the inner scars he carried.

Angel Cole gets out of prison after two years and wants to make something of her life. She has gotten an Associates degree and hopes to get a place to live and work in New York. The only problem is that putting her criminal record on applications keeps getting her turned down for jobs, so she finally leaves it off.

Gage Thompson, also known as the Big Bad, owns Thompson Industries and is not considered a very nice man. His life is his work and he only indulges in sex play rarely, and then only with pros. Though he is rich he has a darkness in his past that keeps him from living life like the rest of the world. Then she comes into his life and all bets are off.

It caught me off guard how much I liked this story. It had me tearing up for the hurt both had lived with, but then it gave me some seriously hot scenes that made me just wish I could have Gage for an hour or two. Short but so worth the time to read it. I say go for it!
This was a sexy, short hot romantic read. A great story where a billionaire always got his way with women. He hires a girl who is eight years younger than his thirty eight years of age. She has a criminal past and lied about it on her job application. He aggressively feels her up on her first day. She is told that he is a mean billionaire but just do as he tells you and you will be fine. Well she sticks to the rules and he becomes obsessed with her in every way. She is around for Christmas Eve working and the steamy romance is unleashed! I highly recommend this book.

Wow! This is my first time reading anything written by Skye Warren but it certainly won't be my last. I admit, I had no idea what to expect, especially since this was offered as a free read on but what the heck, I thought, I have nothing to lose, right? So, I plowed right in thinking I would only read a few pages but much to my surprise, this book grabbed me on the very first page and I simply could not put it down. First, I feel that I must warn anyone seeing the title and assuming this a warm, cuddly Christmas tale - it's not! Nothing could be farther from the truth but it is an exceptionally moving story. It's dark, intense, emotional, gripping and erotica at its best, you know the kind that's sinful and forbidden but you enjoy it despite the warning bells sounding loudly in the recesses of your mind that guide your moral compass. And that's exactly why I loved it, because life is never simple - it's messy, complicated and never, ever just black and white. The male and female protagonists of this story, ruthless, cunning billionaire executive Gage Thompson and young, beautiful parolee Angel Cole are both flawed characters and each, victims of their past which consequently, made them even more engaging, intriguing and realistic. Both have dark, tortuous secrets, living unfulfilled lives filled with doubt, fear and self degradation. My heart ached for Gage and Angel and I found myself yearning for them to find their Christmas miracle, heal each other's emotional wounds while finding redemption and happiness together. And the author did not disappoint. The narrative is written in the first person with only one point of view, that of the female protagonist which I often find to be a limited and one-sided but the author did a fabulous job of conveying the male protagonist's feelings through the dialogue of the story. This story is not for the meek of heart but if you're a reader who loves an unconventional, emotional and very moving Christmas romance with a very dark, disturbing edge, then you will enjoy this story. Although the sex scenes may seem a little graphic or even disconcerting to some, I felt them to be realistic, well thought out and well crafted, leaving me totally stunned and breathless. It's a short quick read with a few editing errors but a few minor corrections would make this book perfect. There's nothing better than two lost, lonely, broken souls finding love at Christmas and this story definitely fills the bill. When an author can draw me into the story so completely and compel me to feel and breath the heartaches and desires of the characters, then she has done an exceptional job and Skye Warren did exactly that. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and forward to reading future releases from Skye Warren. Would I recommend this book? You bet but with two caveats. One, the reader should be at least 18 or older and two, it should be read by someone who can keep an open mind.
